With SmartFactory, we have greatly increased our operational efficiency by digitalizing our production processes. Thanks to instant data monitoring and analysis tools, we are able to manage the performance of our production lines more effectively and quickly resolve disruptions.

As Yağmaksan Makina, we aimed to make our production more efficient by combining our continuous improvement and customer satisfaction-oriented approach with our digital transformation process. In this context, we gained the ability to instantly monitor and control our production processes with SmartFactory MES software.

Thanks to IoT infrastructure and operator confirmation systems, we created an autonomous control mechanism. Real-time data tracking and analytical reporting from our production lines significantly increased our operational efficiency.

 By providing quality control and process optimization with data from the field, we have made our production processes more traceable, organized and transparent. Thanks to this digital transformation we achieved with SmartFactory MES, we have achieved a continuously developing and strengthening production infrastructure.

In this journey, which we started in 1986 with the understanding of "Quality from Design to Product", we aimed to gain competitive advantage by supporting our strength in production with digitalization. In this process, we trusted SmartFactory with its innovative technology and dynamic team and became one of its first users.

During our digital transformation process, we made significant progress in work order management and quality control processes. These developments increased traceability and enabled us to manage our operations faster and more effectively.

In November 2023, we included the SmartFactory application in our CEVHER JANT low pressure wheel casting molds manufacturing process. Since the beginning of 2024, we started to calculate our current productivity and analyze our losses by creating monthly reports. It has made positive contributions to increasing our productivity by revealing our top five most important stops. Thanks to its online reports, SmartFactory has been the most effective tool in identifying areas where efficiency is lacking.

In the second quarter of 2024, we integrated the SmartFactory application with the paperless factory project and ended the delivery of work orders to the field as physical paper. We started to define work orders through the SmartFactory application, and we reduced paper consumption by 50% by uploading the manufacturing technical drawings, maintenance and quality control instructions needed for production on the system.

The installation of the SmartFactory project took about 1.5 months. The operators' use of and involvement in the system is based on a very simple and straightforward layout. The most important feature is that it draws instant data from the machines in the background, independent of the operator, without the need for additional hardware. We can record and report all instant malfunction records on the machine and data such as speed and revolutions on the application. From the beginning of the process until today, the technical support team contributes positively to the functioning of the system with instant and live interventions.
